Vedanta Aluminium’s Flat Bars of Aluminium 5754 consist predominantly of aluminium with magnesium content between 2.6% and 3.6%, improving corrosion resistance and weldability. The alloy has trace amounts of chromium, manganese, and iron. 5754 grade has fine mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 220–330 MPa, yield strength around 130 MPa, and elongation of up to 12%. It also possesses better fatigue strength and high workability and is perfectly suited for both structural and marine usage.
