Being a UK-based Aluminium 5083 Circles manufacturer, Vedanta Aluminium maintains rigorous material purity by strictly following exact alloy composition. The alloy contains 4.0–4.9% magnesium, 0.4–1.0% manganese, iron and silicon in trace amounts, copper, chromium, and the rest aluminium. This alloy offers very good corrosion resistance in chemical and marine environments. Common mechanical properties are tensile strength between 270 and 350 MPa, with a yield strength of around 200 to 280 MPa. The alloy offers good weldability, excellent low-temperature toughness, and reliable performance under high-stress conditions.
