Aluminium 2014 Sheets and Plates consist of 3.9–5.0% copper, 0.2–0.8% magnesium, 0.4–1.2% manganese, along with trace amounts of silicon, iron, and chromium. This heat-treatable alloy boasts high strength, good fatigue resistance, and excellent machinability, although its corrosion resistance is moderate. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 440–490 MPa and a yield strength of 290–400 MPa.
