Vedanta Aluminium’s 1100 Flanges are made from Aluminium Alloy 1100, which contains at least 99% pure aluminium along with small amounts of copper (0.05%–0.2%), iron (maximum 0.95%), and silicon (maximum 0.95%). This unique blend offers outstanding corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. In terms of mechanical properties, Aluminium 1100 has a tensile strength of about 90 MPa and a yield strength of 34 MPa, showcasing high ductility and excellent workability.
