Vedanta Aluminium’s Aluminium 1060 Hex Bars consist of 99.6% pure aluminium, which carries superior electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The general composition of the alloy contains minute amounts of iron, silicon, copper, and manganese. Mechanically, they have a tensile strength of 60–100 MPa and yield strength of about 30 MPa, with excellent elongation of 35%. They have a density of 2.7 g/cm³ and high thermal conductivity and are hence well-suited for applications involving good weldability and formability. They are applicable to both industrial and commercial fabrication needs.
