The high-purity grade provides superior corrosion resistance and heat conductivity. Mechanically, Aluminium 1050 has a tensile strength between 60-100 MPa, yield strength of approximately 20 MPa, and elongation of up to 35%, varying according to temper. It is highly ductile and workable and finds application for cold working.
