Aluminium 1050 Flat Bars are made up of 99.5% pure aluminium with slight additions of materials like iron (up to 0.4%) and silicon (up to 0.25%). This heat-treatment-free alloy has good corrosion resistance, high electrical and thermal conductivity, and very good ductility. The alloy has a tensile strength of 60 to 95 MPa and a yield strength of about 30 MPa with elongation of more than 20%. The Brinell hardness of the alloy is about 20 HB, and the alloy is quite amendable for cold working and forming operations and therefore has applications where high flexibility and conductivity are necessary.
