Aluminium 1050 Channel is made up of 99.5% pure aluminum with residual elements like iron (Fe ≤ 0.4%), silicon (Si ≤ 0.25%), and other minor constituents. This grade falls under the non-heat-treatable aluminium group, which has good corrosion resistance and ductility. The tensile strength of this material is 60–95 MPa, and it can elongate up to 35%. The Brinell hardness of this material is around 20 HB, and it possesses good electrical conductivity (up to 61% IACS). For these reasons, Aluminium 1050 is best suited for bending, forming, and non-structural components.
