Aluminium 6063 Hexagonal Bars contain a majority of aluminium along with magnesium (0.45–0.9%) and silicon (0.2–0.6%) as the major alloying constituents. Such a composition offers outstanding resistance to corrosion, good formability, and desirable surface properties. The alloy also has a tensile strength of between 145 MPa to 186 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 130 MPa, in addition to an elongation value of 12–17%. With a Brinell hardness of approximately 60 HB, it has a good combination of strength and flexibility. Aluminium 6063 also anodizes superbly, making the surface more attractive while also improving its durability.
