Vedanta Aluminium’s 1200 Coils are crafted from Aluminium Alloy 1200, which is composed of 99% pure aluminium along with minimal amounts of elements like silicon (max 0.10%), iron (max 0.50%), copper (max 0.05%), and zinc (max 0.10%). This alloy is celebrated for its remarkable corrosion resistance, excellent formability, and high thermal and electrical conductivity. With a tensile strength ranging from about 90 to 130 MPa and a yield strength between 30 and 65 MPa, depending on the temper, these mechanical properties make it perfect for creating components that demand superior workability and resilience against chemical and environmental factors.
