Aluminium 3003 Hexagonal Bars contain mainly aluminium with about 1.2% manganese and traces of copper along with other trace elements. This alloy increases its strength and resistance against corrosion over pure aluminium. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 130-180 MPa and yield strength of about 70-110 MPa. It has good workability and moderate hardness, and hence it is best suited for forming and welding operations. It also shows good corrosion resistance in different environments and is therefore best applied in indoor and outdoor uses where durability is of essence.
